Every year we make promises to ourselves to be more healthy, kind, maybe learn a new skill or two. Making the lists is the easy part. So today, we’re going to share a few tips for “keeping: a New Year’s resolution:
Set specific, achievable goals: Instead of resolving to “exercise more,” set a specific goal such as “exercise for at least 30 minutes three times a week.”
Make a plan: Decide how you will achieve your goal and make a plan for incorporating your new habit into your daily routine.
Track your progress: Use a journal or a tracking app to record your progress. Seeing your progress can help you stay motivated and on track.
Seek support: Share your resolution with friends and family or join a support group to help keep you accountable.
Be flexible: If you slip up or encounter obstacles, don’t give up. Adjust your plan as needed and try again.
Remember, the key to keeping a New Year’s resolution is to take small steps and be consistent. It may take time and effort, but with patience and perseverance, you can achieve your goals.
