Honoring Our Heroes: Share Your Story of Military Service
At Bronco’s, we believe that every story of service matters.
From the beaches of Normandy to the mountains of Afghanistan, the brave men and women of the United States military have stood tall in defense of our freedoms. But behind every uniform is a personal story — one of courage, sacrifice, love, and resilience.
Whether it’s your own experience or the story of a loved one — a grandparent, parent, sibling, spouse, or friend — we want to help honor that legacy.
We invite you to share your stories of military service.
Maybe your grandfather served in World War II. Maybe your mother broke barriers in the Air Force. Maybe your best friend is currently deployed. These stories help us remember, reflect, and remind others of the deep and personal cost of freedom.
You’re welcome to share photos, letters, memories, or simple reflections. No detail is too small — every contribution helps paint a fuller picture of the incredible individuals who have worn the uniform.
We’ll make all stories available on the website and through social media. Then in August we’ll ask for everyone to vote on their top three stories. We’ll award some fantastic gift sets to the winners which we’ll announce in our September Newsletter.

My dad – George Tingelhoff was in Navy right after high school . He was oldest of 7 kids raised by a single mom in WEST POINT , Nebr
He was on ship at age of 17 yrs old. He was on USS SHANGRILA .
I wasn’t deployed, even though I volunteered, but I served in the Offutt underground for 31/2 years giving weather support to the pilots in Viet Nam. I didn’t think I was important until I met a pilot just a year ago that told me without our weather support, their missions could have been disastrous. I’m a proud US Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam era.
